Derek has been doing this work locally for over 8 years. Most of it is residential: a dead tree over a garage, a canopy that has grown across a roof, a fence line that has gone to brush, a stump left behind from a job someone else finished, a tree that came down in a storm and has to be cut off the drive tonight.

What he actually does on a job

He walks the tree first — the lean, the deadwood, what is under the canopy, and where sections can land. He climbs when the tree cannot be felled whole, rigs and ropes the pieces down, runs the saw, grinds the stumps, and loads the wood and brush. Then the work area gets raked out before the truck leaves.

Why a homeowner calls him

Because the answers come from the person doing the work. You can ask what will happen to the fence, whether the play set has to move, how the wood is leaving, and what the yard will look like afterwards, and get a straight answer rather than a callback.
